Privacy Policy
Effective August 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Catalyst AI & Tech, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("Catalyst," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information in connection with the Catalyst marketplace at https://catalystai.llc, the learning platform at https://learning.catalystai.llc, and related webinars, community, and B2B/organizational services (together, the "Platform").
By using the Platform you acknowledge the practices described here. Questions: privacy@catalystai.llc.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account & identity - your name, email address, and phone number; we store passwords only in hashed form.
- Onboarding profile - to set up your learning path: current status, years of experience, track, goal, target role, country and city, hours per week, and any portfolio, GitHub, or LinkedIn link you provide.
- Usage & learning progress - programs and lessons accessed, video playback and progress, completion, assessment results, and community activity.
- Payment data - handled by third-party processors (Kashier, Stripe); we do not store full card numbers, but may retain limited transaction details (amount, date, program, confirmation reference, installment status).
- Booking & webinar data - dates and times of bookings, webinar registration and attendance status.
- Device & log data - IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, timestamps, and diagnostic logs.
- Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 8).
2. How We Use Information
- Provide the Platform - create and manage your account, deliver purchased programs, process invitations and bookings, process payments and installments.
- Personalize learning - tailor your path and recommendations from your onboarding profile and progress.
- Support - respond to requests and communicate about your account, purchase, or booking.
- Security & content protection - authenticate users, prevent fraud, and operate anti-piracy monitoring and per-user forensic watermarking to detect and deter unauthorized recording, copying, sharing, or redistribution.
- Communicate - send transactional and service messages (including via WhatsApp) and, where permitted, updates you can opt out of.
- Improve the Platform and comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.
3. Job-Matching / Hiring Partners
Catalyst offers an optional job-matching feature governed by a consent toggle labeled "open to being matched with hiring partners."
- Opt-in only. Sharing your information with hiring partners for job-matching occurs only if you turn this toggle on.
- What we share when you opt in - relevant profile information such as your name, track, experience, target role, location, and the portfolio/GitHub/LinkedIn links you provided, with vetted hiring partners.
- Voluntary and withdrawable - you may withdraw at any time by turning the toggle off or emailing privacy@catalystai.llc; withdrawal stops future sharing but does not affect sharing that already occurred.
- If you do not opt in, we will not share your information with hiring partners for job-matching.
Participation does not guarantee any interview, job, or employment outcome.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only as described below:
- Service providers - hosting, payment processing, email/WhatsApp delivery, video hosting/streaming, and error monitoring, under contracts limiting their use to providing those services.
- Advertising & analytics partners - we use PostHog for product analytics (page views, clicks, and funnel/drop-off events), and Meta Pixel and Snapchat Pixel on our marketing/checkout pages to measure ad performance and show you more relevant Catalyst ads on those platforms. This involves sharing device/browser identifiers and page-interaction events (e.g., viewing a program, starting checkout, completing a purchase) with Meta and Snap. See Section 8 for your related California rights and Section 9 for cookie details.
- Hiring partners - only with your opt-in consent (Section 3).
- Organizational (B2B) customers - if your seat was purchased by an employer or partner organization, we share your enrollment and progress status with that organization's designated administrator.
- Legal & safety - to comply with law, enforce our Terms, protect rights and safety, and address fraud or security issues, including anti-piracy enforcement.
- Business transfers - in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
5. Security & Monitoring
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information; no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You acknowledge that content access is monitored and that content is protected with per-user forensic watermarking for anti-piracy purposes - your access and playback are logged, and account-identifying watermarks may be embedded in the content you view (see the Acceptable Use & Anti-Piracy section of our Terms).
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information while your account is active and thereafter as needed to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect our content and rights (including anti-piracy and access logs). When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
7. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may access, correct, or delete your personal information, withdraw consent (including job-matching), and object to or restrict certain processing. Much of your account and onboarding information can be updated directly in your profile. To exercise these rights, email privacy@catalystai.llc; we may verify your identity first, and certain information may be retained as permitted or required by law.
8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, gives you additional rights: to know what personal information we have collected about you, to delete it, to correct inaccurate information, and to know whether we sell or share it. We do not sell personal information for money. Our use of the Meta Pixel and Snapchat Pixel (Section 4) constitutes "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CPRA. To opt out of this sharing, email privacy@catalystai.llc with "Opt out of ad sharing" (we will act on the request within 15 business days), or use your browser's ad-blocking or tracking-protection settings, which prevent these pixels from loading. We do not knowingly collect the personal information of minors under 16 and, accordingly, do not sell or share such information. To exercise any California right, email privacy@catalystai.llc; we will verify your identity before acting on the request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
9. Cookies & Tracking
We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the Platform, and understand usage. Strictly necessary cookies are required for the Platform to function. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser; disabling some may affect functionality.
- PostHog - product analytics: page views, clicks, and funnel events, to understand and improve the Platform.
- Meta Pixel - used on marketplace and checkout pages to measure ad performance and for retargeting on Facebook/Instagram.
- Snapchat Pixel - used on the AI Zero Code funnel only, to measure ad performance and for retargeting on Snapchat.
See Section 8 for how to opt out of Meta/Snapchat ad sharing.
10. International Users & Data Transfer
Catalyst is based in, and operates the Platform from, the United States, and serves learners across the Arab world and internationally. If you access the Platform from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws. By using the Platform you consent to such transfers; where required we implement appropriate safeguards.
11. Children
The Platform is intended for adult learners and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 (and in no case under 16). If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact privacy@catalystai.llc and we will delete it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. For material changes we will update the Effective Date and may provide additional notice through the Platform or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acknowledgment of the updated Policy.
